Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Taxation:

Prepare and file
GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns
accurately and on time.
Assist in
tax planning and compliance
for both direct and indirect taxes.
Handle
tax audits, assessments, and correspondence
with tax authorities.
Ensure
timely payment
of taxes and maintenance of statutory registers and records.
Keep abreast of
latest changes in tax laws, notifications, and circulars.
Support
monthly and year-end financial closing
with accurate tax provisions.

2. Audit:

Conduct
internal audits
of accounting and operational processes to ensure compliance.
Review
financial statements, ledgers, and accounting entries
for accuracy and consistency.
Identify and report
control gaps, risks, and process inefficiencies
with recommendations for improvement.
Coordinate with
external/statutory auditors
and provide required documentation.
Monitor and follow up on the
implementation of audit recommendations.
Ensure adherence to
company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of
GST, TDS, and Income Tax laws.
Knowledge of
auditing procedures, internal controls.
Proficiency in
Tally
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) (No Exam leaves allowed)
Experience:
3+ years in taxation, audit, or accounting roles.
