Job Description

1. Account Reconciliation

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly
bank reconciliation
and
ledger reconciliation
.
Reconcile vendor, customer, and intercompany accounts.
Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Maintain clean and accurate reconciliation statements.

2. Accounting Operations

Assist in posting
journal entries
, invoicing, and maintaining general ledger.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare financial reports, summaries, and supporting schedules.

3. Taxation

Assist in preparation and filing of
GST
,
TDS
, and other applicable tax returns.
Maintain tax-related records and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines.
Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants as required.

4. Excel & Reporting

Use
advanced Excel functions
(VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, Power Query, etc.) for data analysis.
Prepare MIS reports, reconciliation summaries, and variance analysis.
Automate repetitive tasks using formulas or basic Excel macros (preferable).

5. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure all accounting activities comply with company policies and statutory requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation and support audit processes.
