Tax Specialist - CA

As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and filing income tax returns for hedge investment funds, including issuing annual tax information to investors. You will review tax-related data for regulatory filings such as tax audits and state tax returns. Collaboration with financial operations and tax planning teams is essential to ensure accurate tax calculations and compliance. Additionally, you will be preparing and distributing quarterly investor tax estimate statements. Your role will also involve computing taxable income and allocations for hedge funds and investors, including book-to-tax difference analysis and tax depreciation. Furthermore, you will present taxable income analysis to senior management and respond to investor-related tax queries. To qualify for this position, you should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 3 years of experience in the financial services industry or with a large audit firm. Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role. The ability to work independently, with keen attention to detail and strong deadline management, is crucial.
