Role Overview: Sentient Solutions, a rapidly growing accounting outsourcing firm, is seeking a Tax Senior to join their Tax Department in Hyderabad. As part of the Tax team, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of individual federal and state tax returns for US-based clients. Key Responsibilities: - Preparation/ Review of Individual federal tax return and state tax returns - Validation of data and analysis for accuracy and relevance - Thorough review of documents and application of changes in tax rates and laws - Identification and resolution of technical issues on engagements - Book-To-Tax Reconciliation to ensure balance - Utilization of Tax Technology for tax returns - Participation in US Individual Tax training modules - Contribution to team discussions and knowledge sharing - Self-review of deliverables before submission - Compliance with client confidentiality policies - Meeting client KPIs for quality and budget Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of prior tax return preparation work experience; 2+ years in US Federal Tax - Enrolled Agent or other appropriate certification - CA/CPA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent masters degree in accounting or related field - Prior Big 4 experience or equivalent - Software skills like CCH and Ultratax preferred Additional Company Details: Sentient Solutions for Accounting is known for its highly experienced team of experts based in the US, India, and Mexico, offering fully customized solutions to CPA Firms.
