Tax Senior - Individual Taxes

Role Overview: Sentient Solutions is a rapidly growing accounting outsourcing firm that offers fully customized solutions to CPA firms in the United States by combining talent, technology, and a suite of scalable services. As a Tax Senior at Sentient, you will be part of a team that provides tax compliance services to high-net-worth individuals and other clients, offering a broad range of fully integrated tax services. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and/or review individual federal tax returns and state tax returns with accuracy and relevance. - Validate data and analysis, apply changes in tax rates and tax laws, and ensure Book-To-Tax Reconciliation is properly prepared and balanced. - Identify and communicate technical issues for resolution, transfer financial information into tax return format, and navigate Tax Technology for tax returns. - Enhance US tax knowledge through training modules and contribute to team discussions, sharing knowledge for the benefit of the group. - Manage time effectively, self-review deliverables, follow assignment instructions, and maintain confidentiality of client information. - Meet client KPIs regarding quality and budgets to minimize escalations. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of tax return preparation experience, including 2+ years in US Federal Tax. - Enrolled Agent or other relevant certification, CA/CPA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent master's degree in accounting, and prior Big 4 experience. - Software skills like CCH and Ultratax are advantageous. - Understanding of US accounting principles, IRS, and US GAAP regulations. - Ability to multitask tax engagements, communicate effectively, analyze complex issues, and implement appropriate resolutions. - Strong academic track record and demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.,
