Job Description

Position Summary:

This position will prepare and manage the quarterly and annual tax provision for companies under US GAAP for a large multinational corporation.

Role & responsibilities:

Manage the tax provisions for various companies worldwide under ASC 740 including the tax expense, deferred taxes and income tax payable
Calculate return to provision adjustments annually
Maintain SOX control documentation and processes
Prepare tax account reconciliation as needed
Assist with other projects as necessary
Manage tax reporting packages, provide strategic guidance to regional and local team on U.S. GAAP vs statutory reporting requirements.

Preferred candidate profile:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
Chartered Accountant
or equivalent is an advantage.
7+ years of diverse tax experience in a fast-paced environment, with Big 4 accounting firm experience and corporate/in-house experience with US-based multinational company
Experience with income tax compliance and tax accounting and reporting under ASC 740 for US-based multinational corporations
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Proficiency in tax software (preferably CorpTax) and financial reporting tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage tight deadlines during critical reporting cycles
