Job Description:

CPNS & ASSOCIATES, a reputed Chartered Accountancy firm, is seeking an experienced Accountant in the Direct Tax field. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience in taxation and compliance, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, and companies.
• Preparation and e-filing of Tax Audit Reports and other statutory reports.
• TDS computation, payment, and filing of quarterly TDS returns.
• Working knowledge of Tally for accounting, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliation.
• Coordinating with clients for data, clarifications, and compliance requirements.
• Assisting in Income Tax Assessments, Appeals, and Notices.
• Staying updated with the latest changes in tax laws and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a CA Firm in the Direct Tax domain only.
• Proficient in Tally ERP and e-filing of Income Tax & TDS returns.
• Knowledge of Audit procedures and Tax Audit Report preparation.
• Strong understanding of Income Tax provisions and deadlines.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.

CA Inter qualified preferred.

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month (commensurate with experience & qualifications)
