Tax - Corporate Tax Process Management Associate

As a Global Corporate Tax Process Management Associate at Goldman Sachs, you will play a crucial role in overseeing end-to-end process management, execution, and controls for indirect tax compliance. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Partnering with Tax professionals to design and implement in-house indirect tax reporting process management - Acting as a central point of contact for the outsourced VAT compliance vendor - Executing day-to-day activities based on standard operational procedures, processes, and systems for indirect tax compliances - Performing risk management by identifying controls weakness, mitigating risks, maintaining KRIs, and improving overall service experience - Working with various teams to leverage technology solutions for the Tax department and highlight opportunities for improvement - Utilizing advanced analytical tools to build, control, maintain, and deliver large structured and unstructured data sets from various sources - Managing relationships to track and monitor workstream progress, ensure timely reporting of milestones, and escalate risks and issues Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree or above in accounting, finance, or business administration - Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize workload to drive results - 3+ years of relevant work experience in Operations, Accounting, Finance, or related field - Experience with reporting indirect taxes for multinational businesses such as VAT or GST - Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with tax and accounting products like Oracle, Thomson Reuters, and Corporate tax - High level of accuracy in managing tax-related processes, attention to detail, and a proactive self-starter mindset About Goldman Sachs: Goldman Sachs is a leading global investment banking, securities, and investment management firm committed to fostering diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
