Tax Associate

As a Tax Associate at Flexera, your role will involve assisting with the worldwide tax function under the guidance of the Tax Director. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting the Tax Director in preparing the US GAAP provision and international tax provisions following local statutory requirements - Supporting in the review of US and International tax returns - Providing necessary documentation to outside tax advisors - Participating in the quarterly and annual close process by preparing and reconciling tax-related general ledger accounts - Aid in the review of Sales & Use tax returns and account reconciliations - Preparation of ad hoc Indirect Tax returns when required - Assisting with Direct & Indirect tax audits and addressing tax notifications from local taxing authorities - Involvement in additional tax projects as needed To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - Minimum 1 year of direct tax experience with a public accounting firm - Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Tax - CPA qualification or actively working towards completing the CPA exam - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - Proficiency in MS Excel from an intermediate to advanced level Flexera is dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
