We are looking for a Tax Analyst in Noida, reporting to the Manager Tax, with responsibility for Direct and indirect tax matters including Corporate Income Tax and GST tax compliance, reporting, audits, withholding tax, repatriation, and all other tax aspects as needed ensuring compliance based upon sound research, analysis and interpretation of tax laws and tax reporting guidance under IFRS and US GAAP. The role requires the candidate to have a hands on approach when dealing with the group tax and other affairs, i.e., the candidate will be expected to develop a full understanding of the tax issues.
About You Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments
- Professional accounting qualification (chartered accountant preferred)
- Big 4 experience preferred.
- 2 years of experience working in tax required.
- Must possess superior organizational and documentation skills.
- Extremely detailed oriented
- Ability to research and propose resolutions on complex tax issues.
- Strong analytical skills set and solid experience with tax financial data.
- Proficient in accounting, reconciliations, debits, credits, and ability to read financial statements.
- Solid Word, Excel, PowerPoint, spreadsheet and computer knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to foster a team-oriented environment, working collaboratively with cross-functional departments.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
What will you be doing in this role
- Preparation of quarterly and year-end tax provision
- Tax account reconciliation and compliance filings
- Support in statutory audit with respect to tax notes and disclosures
- Managing tax and compliance issues
- Tax audit support
- Collaboration with various groups within the Company, including but not limited to finance, and tax teams globally.
- Serve as a subject matter expect to ensure timely closure of and accurate compliance including staying abreast of relevant regulations in primary jurisdictions.
- Effectively communicate project plans and key achievements to internal partners including the tax and finance teams.
- Staying up to date on US GAAP / IFRS tax provision and reporting requirements.
- Detail-oriented individual who is self-motivated and takes ownership of projects.
- Tax account reconciliation process for all Indian tax-related accounts
- Maintain and report SOX tax controls and processes.
- Other duties as needed to fulfil tax responsibilities for the tax department.
About The Team
The role requires the candidate to collaborate with tax team members within India and in the US and UK. The candidate will also work closely with controllership, other finance teams and our tax advisors.
Hours of Work
