Job Description

The Task Management Analyst is responsible for overseeing the efficient allocation, tracking, and completion of tasks across teams or departments. This role ensures tasks are prioritized and executed according to deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. The analyst also identifies bottlenecks, provides insights for process improvements, and ensures resources are optimally utilized. Role & responsibilities : The below are the roles and responsibilities: Task Allocation and Tracking Assign and track tasks across teams based on priorities and deadlines. Monitor task progress and ensure timely completion. Performance Reporting Create daily, weekly, and monthly task status reports to share with stakeholders. Highlight delays, backlogs, or potential risks to management. Process Optimization Analyze task management workflows and recommend improvements to increase efficiency. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for task handling. Collaboration and Communication Act as the central point of contact for task-related queries and escalations. Collaborate with team leads and managers to resolve bottlenecks or conflicts. Tool and System Management Utilize task management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Planner) to track and report progress. Ensure all team members are trained in using the task management system effectively. Metrics and Analysis Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as task completion rates, average resolution time, and resource utilization. Provide actionable insights based on data to enhance productivity. Preferred candidate profile Educational Background Bachelors degree Experience 2+ years of experience in task management, operations, or a related role. Familiarity with task management tools and project management principles. Technical Skills Proficiency in task management software like Jira, Trello, or Asana. Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Key Competencies Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Behavioural Attributes Proactive and detail-oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Preferred Skills Experience in project management or certification (e.g., PMP or Six Sigma). Knowledge of workflow automation and process improvement methodologies.
