Job Description

As a multifaceted HP NonStop/Tandem platform software Developer cum SRE at our company, you will have a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities. You will be assigned to a scrum team consisting of project managers/scrum masters, developers, business analysts, and quality control testers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, modifying, and unit testing software enhancements and/or new products. - Taking personal responsibility for the quality of individual deliverables and contributing to the quality assurance of the team's deliverables. - Interacting with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or modifications. - Participating in all Agile team meetings and ceremonies. - Creating and revising all technical documentation related to coding and development. - Training new or junior developers on aspects of an application or system and development processes. To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications: - Minimum 7+ years of experience in Connex or Base24 Development. - Experience with HP NonStop/Tandem development with skills in performing requirement analysis, design, and coding in Connex or Base24. - Programming experience with TAL, COBOL, SCOBOL. - Experience with Pathway, Enscribe, and SQL systems. - Experience with Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises (SAFe). - Attention to detail, diligence, and accuracy. - Excellent customer service skills. - Exceptional analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills. - Willingness to share relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise with other resources. - A resourceful and proactive approach in gathering information and sharing ideas. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring application reliability, availability, and performance, minimizing downtime, and optimizing response times. You will lead incident response, including identification, triage, resolution, and post-incident analysis, as well as participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical incidents. You will collaborate with security teams to implement best practices and ensure compliance, develop and test disaster recovery plans and backup strategies, and manage deployment pipelines while taking ownership of end-to-end delivery.
