Tandem Developer

As a multifaceted HP NonStop/Tandem platform software Developer cum SRE at FIS, you will have a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities in both application development and site reliability engineering for Card Transaction Authorization Processing (AP) function. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, modifying, and unit testing software enhancements and/or new products - Taking personal responsibility for the quality of individual deliverables and contributing to the quality assurance of the team's deliverables - Interacting with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or modifications - Participating in all Agile team meetings and ceremonies - Creating and revising all technical documentation related to coding and development - Training new or junior developers on aspects of an application or system and development processes Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 7+ years of experience in Connex or Base24 Development - Experience with HP NonStop/Tandem development, including skills in performing requirement analysis, design, and coding in Connex or Base24 - Programming experience with TAL, COBOL, SCOBOL - Experience with Pathway, Enscribe, and SQL systems - Experience with Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises (SAFe) - Attention to detail, diligence, and accuracy - Excellent customer service skills - Exceptional analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills - Willingness to share relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise - Resourceful and proactive approach in gathering information and sharing ideas - Ensure application reliability, availability, and performance - Lead incident response and participate in on-call rotations - Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices and ensure compliance - Develop and test disaster recovery plans and backup strategies - Manage deployment pipelines and take ownership of end-to-end delivery At FIS, you will be offered a competitive salary and a fantastic range of benefits designed to support your everyday life and wellbeing.
