Job Description

As a Talent Development Trainer at MarketStar, you will play a crucial role in empowering employees through impactful training programs that enhance skills, performance, and professional growth. Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering engaging learning experiences, analyzing training effectiveness, and supporting organizational development initiatives. You will be responsible for: - Designing and delivering training sessions tailored to organizational needs. - Facilitating new hire orientation, leadership development, and skill-building workshops. - Developing engaging training materials using modern instructional design principles. - Updating and refining content to align with evolving business priorities and trends. - Assessing training effectiveness through participant feedback and performance metrics. - Implementing improvements to ensure optimal learning outcomes. - Partnering with department leaders to identify training needs and align programs with goals. - Supporting cross-functional teams in implementing learning initiatives. - Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the organization. - Staying informed about the latest trends in talent development and instructional technologies. To succeed in this role, you will need strong presentation and facilitation skills, the ability to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and training tools. It would be beneficial to have expertise in instructional design and adult learning methodologies, experience with eLearning tools and virtual training platforms, knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training practices, certification in training or instructional design (e.g., ATD, CPTD), a background in change management or leadership coaching, and familiarity with data-driven approaches to measuring training success. The role prerequisites include a Bachelor's degree in education, Human Resources, or a related field, 3+ years of experience in training, facilitation, or talent development roles, proven ability to create and deliver effective learning solutions, strong organizational and project management skills, and a willingness to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
