Description
As an Instructional Design Specialist within the Talent & Organization (T&O) practice of the S&C Global Network at Accenture, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients from various industries in the domains of Learning Design and Development, Change Management, and HR Transformation. Your primary responsibility will involve crafting innovative learning strategies and solutions, aiding clients in navigating organizational change, and facilitating a smooth transition process. By being an integral part of the team dedicated to shaping the future workforce, you will contribute significantly to the evolution of learning methodologies and practices. Your day-to-day tasks as an Instructional Designer Consultant at Accenture may vary; however, you can expect to engage in the following activities: - Collaborating with client teams to comprehend business challenges, propose solution approaches, and guide the design, development, and implementation phases. - Performing Training Needs Analysis to outline the training curriculum. - Creating comprehensive content outlines aligned with the curriculum requirements. - Establishing design standards, guidelines, templates, and checklists for the proposed learning solutions. - Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to design and produce relevant and impactful training materials. - Ensuring the quality of training deliverables meets project requirements and industry standards through meticulous reviews. - Identifying and communicating project risks to Project Leads/Functional Managers and exploring potential solutions. - Mentoring instructional designers and content developers to refine their skills through instructor development workshops. - Providing constructive feedback to enhance the instructional design capabilities of the team. - Recognizing opportunities to integrate novel learning strategies into the solutions. - Leveraging expertise in instructional design, research, content analysis, and knowledge of the latest trends in the learning industry. - Demonstrating proficiency in industry-standard design and rapid authoring tools like Articulate, Captivate, Lectora, Camtasia, SAP Enable Now, and WalkMe, along with familiarity with client-specific authoring tools. - Operating within a problem-solving global environment and exhibiting cross-cultural competence. - Possessing strong interpersonal and writing skills combined with a solid business acumen. Key Professional & Technical Skills: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field such as Journalism, Mass Communication, English Literature, Advertising, or Public Relations. - Preferred work experience of at least 6 years in content development and instructional design. - Extensive experience in creating, reviewing, and delivering various training formats including Instructor-Led Trainings, Web-Based Trainings, application simulations, job aids, and quick reference guides. - Proficiency in leading and coaching small teams independently.
