Tableau Admin / Power BI Admin

Job Summary

We have an immediate requirement for a skilled Tableau Administrator with additional Power BI Administration knowledge to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing BI environments, ensuring platform stability, user management, and optimizing report and dashboard performance.

The ideal professional should be technically strong, process-oriented, and capable of handling admin responsibilities across both Tableau and Power BI platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Tableau Server and Power BI Service environments.
• Manage user onboarding/offboarding, roles, permissions, and access controls across both BI platforms.
• Configure and manage data source connections, extracts, and refresh schedules.
• Perform server health checks, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Implement and enforce data governance, security, and compliance policies.
• Collaborate with BI Developers and Data Engineers to support dashboard deployments and troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation for configuration, security, and maintenance procedures.
• Support incident resolution, capacity planning, and system optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Tableau Administration and Power BI Administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud administration.
• Working knowledge of Power BI workspace management, gateways, and tenant settings.
• Understanding of Active Directory (AD) integration, SSO, and role-based access controls.
• Proficient in performance tuning, extract optimization, and log analysis.
• Good understanding of SQL and data connectivity for troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
• Immediate availability for onboarding at Chennai (initial 2 weeks).
