Job Description

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead and own the end-to-end delivery of middleware infrastructure architecture. This role demands technical acumen across web technologies, middleware, cloud platforms, and network security, with a strong focus on architectural design, performance, and resilience. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on expert with a strategic mindset, capable of interfacing with global teams and driving infrastructure excellence in a Fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture Ownership:

Lead and own the technical architecture of API & web applications from inception to delivery.
Create and maintain detailed architecture diagrams including ingress/egress flows, traffic patterns, and infrastructure components.
Ensure alignment with non-functional requirements such as reliability, availability, performance, and security.

Web & Middleware Expertise:

Administer and optimize middleware technologies including Web Servers, Application Servers, DNS, TLS/SSL, Messaging, and Caching.
Manage certificate lifecycles and integrations across DMZs and secure zones.
Integrate databases with middleware platforms ensuring secure and performant communication.

F5 Load Balancing & Security:

Configure and manage F5 components including vServers, pool members, ASM/WAF, and iRules.
Utilize both CLI and UI interfaces for administration and troubleshooting.
Implement and maintain web application firewalls and traffic management policies.

Cloud & Infrastructure:

Design and support infrastructure across Virtual Machines, Bare Metal, and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes).
Understand and apply routing principles across multiple Availability Zones.
Ensure infrastructure designs meet audit and compliance standards.

Technical Proficiency:

Intermediate understanding of JVM internals and garbage collection mechanisms.
Strong grasp of operating system and network principles, including TCP/IP troubleshooting.
Hands-on scripting experience in Shell and Python for automation and analysis.

Security & Access Control:

Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
Ensure infrastructure adheres to security best practices and audit requirements.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work effectively with multinational and remote teams, including global DevOps counterparts.
Communicate assertively with stakeholders across the organization.
Demonstrate flexibility and team spirit in a dynamic environment.

Change Management:

Apply a mature and sensitive approach to change management, especially within Fintech regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications:

5+ years of Technical quality experience in infrastructure architecture, middleware, and web technologies.
Proven experience in Fintech or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
Certifications in F5, AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes are a plus.
