Systems Engineer II

As a Systems Engineer II at Abbott's Mumbai location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division, you will be responsible for supporting Abbott's Remote Monitoring products for treating and monitoring cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure. Your role will involve ensuring effective monitoring of implantable devices via cloud services, the Merlin.net web application, and patient transmitters/mobile apps. You will work under general supervision, supporting testing activities, analyzing system requirements, and resolving cross-functional issues. Your technical and organizational leadership will be crucial in planning and coordinating systems engineering tasks, applying clinical and marketing insights, and staying updated with technical advancements and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Execute system testing for web and mobile applications (Android and iOS). - Follow authored test procedures, conduct manual and automated testing, and report issues. - Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and ad-hoc testing to contribute to overall product quality evaluation. - Apply technical concepts, maintain a comprehensive understanding of product fundamentals, and operate within a quality system environment. - Ensure high-quality product delivery by adhering to regulatory and process requirements. - Occasionally assist in maintaining the Remote Care Systems lab, including equipment and software updates. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Experience with general engineering principles and laboratory practices. - Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. - Quick learner with strong domain understanding, data analysis skills, and effective communication. - Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and leadership in troubleshooting and recommending quality improvements.,
