As a System Administrator III Citrix, your role involves performing installation, configuration, and maintenance of Citrix infrastructure systems within a business. You will be analyzing and resolving problems associated with the Citrix infrastructure system's servers, hardware, applications, and software. Additionally, you will be responsible for detecting, diagnosing, and reporting application and VDI related problems. Key Responsibilities: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining Citrix XenApp/Desktop 7.15 - Demonstrating a strong background in Citrix administration and understanding of scripting - Having a strong knowledge in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of Citrix Presentation Server, XenApp, and XenDesktop - Performing Citrix upgrade and farm migration from planning through implementation - Performance tuning and optimizing server configurations for specific workloads - Client-side configuration of XenApp/Desktop and troubleshooting various user issues - Possessing strong knowledge in Provisioning Services (PVS) with versioning, Machine Creation Services (MCS) - Handling XenDesktop including Delivery Controllers, Provisioning Services, StoreFront servers - Operating in a rapid-paced, time-sensitive, high-quality environment - Understanding Load Manager, Resource Manager, Citrix Patch Management - Having good knowledge of VDI technologies such as Azure Virtual Desktop & W365 - Demonstrating operations and deployment knowledge on Azure Virtual Desktop - Implementing and supporting AVD with DR - Skills in Windows client and Server OS, Azure Image Gallery, creating and customizing images - Configuring and deploying FSLOGIX and required infrastructure in AVD - Managing user profiles in AVD - Configuring Optimization & Security features in AVD - Troubleshooting AVD related issues and providing BAU support - Understanding Incident, Change, Problem Management process and providing the RCAs on P1 tickets - Leading detailed technical discussions, developing, and presenting required briefing materials to ensure customer needs are met Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of technical experience in corporate IT operations in a Data Center Environment - Independent problem solver and self-starter with strong documentation abilities necessary for timely problem resolution - Leading projects to implement new Citrix solutions - Experience working in Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and AVD - Good knowledge of ITIL processes and implementation - Demonstrated experience in process improvement - Excellent communication and relationship building skills - Driving for continuous improvement across domains - Experience in VDI build (Virtual) - Desired Certifications: CCA-V, CCE-V, CCP-V, VMware VCP, ITIL (Note: The additional details of the company were not provided in the job description) As a System Administrator III Citrix, your role involves performing installation, configuration, and maintenance of Citrix infrastructure systems within a business.
