How You ll Make an Impact

• Carry out 3-D modeling and drawings of components / assemblies for different D-R products, Provide drawing updating and revision control; Follow engineering and drafting standard practices.
  
• Form Fit & Functional Check for the complete assembly as per company standard
• Allot, check, and supervise output for quality, consistency and compliance to Siemens Energy standards and client requirements, Carry out engineering and design calculations using as per SE guidelines.
  
• Handle ad hoc projects as assigned by the Engineering Manager, Handle in confidence the drawings and / or trade secret information of SE products.
  
• Support efficiency improvement and establish standard methodologies for modeling and drafting activities within stipulated time-period.
  
• Electronic transfer of drawings, documents, and data with SE Globally, Works with Project Engineering, Design/Drafting, Project Management, External/Internal Relationships, Suppliers, Global Stakeholders, Product Engineering
• Create and modify engineering drawings in AutoCAD, 3-D models using SolidWorks & Teamcenter, to support drawing conversion, revision of drawings of components & assemblies and to carry-out engineering design / calculations per templates in compliance to Siemens-Energy standards and practices for different products
• To provide back-office Engineering Support for engineering, drafting to Fort Collins team.
  
• Key Outputs - Design of integral gas engine M&U process P&IDs, piping, mechanical assembly, demolition, I&C, etc.
  
• 3D models using SolidWorks, Cabinet Assembly Manufacturing drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, general architecture, communication diagrams, Engineering Change Note generation/ Releasing drawing in Globus Team Center system

What You Bring

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent experience of 6-8 years
• Exposure to ASME Y14.
  5 with Good hold on basic engineering
• Hands on experience with CAD software s like SolidWorks/ AutoCAD or NX is required.
  
• Experience with Parametric modeling, drafting, assemblies, expression based modeling, Part families, Wave-Link Geometry is required.
  
• Sophisticated Assembly features Handle large assemblies, Assembly arrangements
• Product Knowledge: Gas engines / Reciprocating Compressor or Diesel -Engines is preferred, good to have Knowledge in crafting pipeline, familiar with O&G industrial rotating equipment and auxiliaries like Lube Oil system, pumps, turbochargers, etc
