System & Network Support Executive

As a Hardware cum Software Support Executive with Firewall Knowledge at Ambit Tax and Accounting Services LLP, your role involves providing technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and office peripherals. You will be responsible for installing, updating, and maintaining software such as Microsoft Office, antivirus, and accounting tools. Additionally, you will configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewalls (e.g., Watchguard, FortiGate, SonicWall, pfSense) to ensure secure access and compliance. Managing user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will monitor LAN/WAN connectivity, coordinate with ISPs and external vendors, set up secure VPNs, remote access tools (RDP, TeamViewer, AnyDesk) for offshore teams, maintain IT inventory, perform system backups, and track security updates. It is crucial to ensure adherence to internal data protection and cybersecurity protocols. Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of experience in IT support roles. - Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and endpoint security. - Hands-on experience with firewall configuration and management. - Ability to work independently and resolve technical issues quickly. - Good communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in CCNA, Network+, or firewall-specific credentials (Fortinet NSE, etc.) is a plus. - Exposure to IT environments supporting accounting or BPO services is preferred.
