Job Description

System Maintenance Engineer - SAP Knowledge (B1 / Hana) A System Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and longevity of equipment, machinery, and systems within a facility or organization. They perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, implement repairs, and develop strategies to optimize performance and minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities: Performing routine maintenance: This includes tasks like lubrication, cleaning, and inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate. Troubleshooting and repairing equipment: Diagnosing faults, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions to restore equipment to operational status. Developing and implementing maintenance procedures: Creating and executing preventive maintenance programs, predictive maintenance strategies, and other maintenance approaches to optimize equipment lifespan and performance. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations: Adhering to safety protocols, operating equipment safely, and ensuring the workplace is a safe environment for all. Maintaining detailed records: Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance data, and any issues encountered. Collaborating with other teams: Working with production, engineering, and other departments to coordinate maintenance efforts and minimize disruption to operations. Staying updated on industry advancements: Keeping abreast of new technologies, maintenance techniques, and best practices to improve their work and optimize equipment performance.
