System Engineer

You are a self-motivated, great team player, and passionate IT Systems Engineer with a keen focus on developing innovative solutions for identified business problems using your skills and expertise. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, switches, access points, antivirus software, storage systems, and containerized platforms. You will install, configure, test, and maintain primarily Linux operating systems with Windows and Mac OS, application software, and system management software. Ensuring security best practices are implemented to protect the organization's systems and data from unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats is a key part of your role. Providing technical support to end-users, maintaining accurate records of all IT assets, and tracking asset details such as purchase date, warranty status, configuration, and location are also part of your responsibilities. You will identify potential vendors based on the organization's needs, negotiate contracts, and serve as the primary point of contact for vendors. Collaboration with other teams to develop and maintain business continuity plans, maintaining security standards as an ISO and SOC certified company, and possessing the required skill set such as system knowledge, communication skills, interpersonal skills, urgency, analytical mindset, vendor management, and negotiation skills are essential for this role. This position is full-time, based in our Coimbatore office.
