Databricks is scaling rapidly, and with that comes the challenge of maintaining a secure, efficient, and user-friendly SaaS environment. The current infrastructure involves multiple applications with overlapping functionalities and fragmented access controls.

Manual provisioning and de-provisioning across platforms like Okta, Slack, and Intune

Limited automation in user lifecycle management and compliance reporting

Integration gaps between tools such as Opal, Keeper, and Jira, affecting workflow transparency

Security risks due to inconsistent RBAC enforcement and audit trail visibility

This role is critical to solving these challenges by streamlining SaaS operations, automating repetitive tasks, and ensuring robust identity and access governance across the enterprise.

Core Responsibilities

• SaaS Application Management

  Administer and optimize enterprise SaaS platforms including

  Okta

  Intune

  Office 365

  Jira

  . Ensure seamless performance, user provisioning, and policy enforcement across tools.

• Integration & Automation

  Design and implement integrations between SaaS applications to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency. Leverage APIs and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to automate repetitive tasks and simplify user lifecycle management.

• Access & Identity Governance

  Manage identity and access controls using

  Okta

  and

  Opal

  , ensuring secure authentication, SSO configurations, and role-based access across platforms.

• Monitoring & Troubleshooting

  Proactively monitor application health, usage patterns, and performance metrics. Resolve issues related to login failures, sync errors, and configuration mismatches.

• Security & Compliance

  Collaborate with InfoSec to enforce compliance standards, audit trails, and data protection policies across all managed applications.

• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

  Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting guides. Support cross-functional teams with technical insights and training.

Experience & Skills

• 5-6 years

  of hands-on experience in system engineering with a strong focus on SaaS ecosystems.
