In this role within the Computational Signal Infrastructure Group at Volvo Group, located in Bangalore, you will be part of a team of highly motivated engineers dedicated to designing, developing, and maintaining hardware, physical architecture, functional schematics, and communication technologies for Embedded Systems. You will work on creating detailed functional concepts, functional schematics, and hardware modeling for the Electrical System from the concept stage. Your responsibilities will include developing electrical design concepts, maintaining functional schematics, leading power management concepts, performing wire size calculations, managing hardware model structures, and actively participating in the enhancement of methods and processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of scalable and affordable systems. To succeed in this role, you should have 4 to 6 years of experience in designing and developing vehicle schematics and simulations. You must possess a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, design tools, and simulation tools. Additionally, knowledge of power management systems, hardware interfaces, and vehicle regulations is essential. Strong communication skills in English are mandatory for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will hold a BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with a solid background in automotive electrical domain. You should demonstrate technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
