System Architect

As a System Architect with 12+ years of experience, your role will involve designing end-to-end architecture covering various technologies like React-TypeScript front-ends, FastAPI micro-services, Python business logic, Azure data layers, and OpenAI API integration. You will define interface contracts, event flows, observability standards, and non-functional requirements. Your responsibilities will also include establishing prompt/response validation, abuse mitigation, and PII safeguards for GPT-4o-class models, benchmarking chat completion and Responses API, converting epics to WBS, and providing hands-on code reviews across UI, API, and data layers. You will align sprint goals with contractual milestones, coordinate SIT/UAT, oversee automated regression, and present solution trade-offs to client architects and executives. Additionally, you will mentor 10-15 engineers, run architecture guilds, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions. Key Responsibilities: - Design end-to-end architecture covering various technologies - Define interface contracts, event flows, and observability standards - Establish prompt/response validation and PII safeguards - Benchmark chat completion and Responses API - Convert epics to WBS and drive backlog refinement - Provide hands-on code reviews and resolve blockers - Align sprint goals with contractual milestones - Coordinate SIT/UAT and oversee automated regression - Present solution trade-offs to client architects and execs - Mentor engineers and run architecture guilds Qualifications Required: - 12+ years designing and shipping full-stack SaaS or data platforms - 5+ years in architectural leadership - Proven production use of LLM-powered features - Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, FastAPI, Python 3.11+, and REST/GraphQL - Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS and IaC - Strong grasp of test automation and quality gates - Familiarity with data modeling, SQL/NoSQL, vector stores, and Delta Lake - Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and interface with C-level stakeholders Additional Company Details: - Prior work on financial-services analytics or regulatory environments is preferred - Experience hardening Azure OpenAI deployments for enterprise use is a plus - Exposure to Observability stacks and threat modeling is advantageous,
