System Architect-BMS

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Architect to join our Battery Management System (BMS) team. The System Architect will play a crucial role in defining and developing the architecture for our next-generation BMS solutions, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design:

• Define and develop the overall system architecture for BMS, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and robustness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and firmware engineers, to ensure architectural alignment and integration.
• Monitor technology trends on Hardware & Software functionalities, benchmarking proposals from different vendors.

2. Requirements Analysis:

• Gather and analyze technical requirements from stakeholders to inform architectural decisions.
• Develop system requirements specifications and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

3. System Integration:

• Lead the integration of hardware and software components, ensuring seamless communication within the BMS.
• Manage interfaces between BMS and other vehicle systems or energy applications.

4. Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in battery technologies and integrate this knowledge into the architectural design.

5. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure that the BMS architecture complies with relevant safety standards and regulations, such as ISO 26262 for automotive applications.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement design redundancies for fault tolerance and reliability.

6. Performance Optimization:

• Optimize system architecture for energy efficiency, thermal management, and performance metrics.
• Implement data analytics and diagnostics tools to monitor system health and performance.

7. Documentation and Reporting:

• Create detailed documentation of the system architecture, design rationale, and technical specifications.
• Present architectural concepts and progress reports to stakeholders and executive management.

8. Business Development support:

• Create detailed documentation of the system architecture, design rationale, and technical specifications.
• Monitor technology trends on Hardware & Software functionalities, benchmarking proposals from different vendors.
• Participate to competitor analysis activity, transferring best system design practices to internal team.
• Specify and select the basic Hardware components and Software technologies needed to achieve the targeted system performances and to ensure the best cost/performance trade-off.
• Define and document the functional repartition between Hardware and Software
