System Administrator, Wintel

As a System Administrator, Wintel, your primary responsibility will be to manage Datacenter Services hosted on windows servers with 24X7 availability. Your key responsibilities will include: - Proactively monitoring all servers using BSE tools - Monitoring CPU & Memory utilization - Monitoring Microsoft Windows Resources, Event logs & critical services - Generating monthly reports on server availability - Responding to and owning Incidents till resolution - Engaging customer contracted hardware and software support vendors for incident resolution - Coordinating with customer support teams for incident review & resolution - Coordinating with customer contacts and BSE vendors in case of hardware failures or third party vendor involvement - Performing OS reinstallation in case of crashes or when required - Performing restoration of all components during system failure or file system corruption - Correlating related incidents into a problem ticket and managing through the problem management process - Automating OS administration tasks where practical - Patching OS for Security patches and release management - Implementing best practice configurations as per specific vendor recommendations - Managing Hyper-V, including creation/deletion/configuration of VMs and snapshots - Reporting VM performance status using Native tools/monitoring tools - Managing Hyper-V 2012/2016/2019 Clusters - Having knowledge on SCVMM - Conducting basic troubleshooting for IIS - Managing access rights and folders - Maintaining complete configuration details of servers in scope - Performing OS hardening as per policy recommendations by BSE - Managing Server Inventory - Managing Groups/Domains Additionally, the job is based in Mumbai and requires 5-6 years of experience in Windows Administration Management Services.,
