Job Description

Job Title: System Administrator

Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Linux) and applications.
Manage and monitor servers, storage, and network infrastructure.
Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus, and patch management.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and industry standards.
Provide technical support and training to staff.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:

Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Azure Administrator
CompTIA Network+ / Security+
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
