System Administrator

Position: Junior System Administrator
Location: Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Junior System Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will assist in maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your technical expertise and gain valuable hands-on experience in system administration within a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance to internal and remote users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of Windows/Linux servers and virtual environments (Hyper-V).
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other platforms.
• Monitor system performance, backups, and security logs to ensure reliability and security.
• Support software updates, patches, and system upgrades.
• Help set up and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Assist in troubleshooting network issues (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and issue resolutions.
• Collaborate with senior administrators and IT support teams on projects and escalations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or collaboratively within a team.
