System Administrator

As a System Administrator or Network/System Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining servers, databases, and ERP infrastructure across on premise and cloud environments. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, and monitoring Windows/Linux servers, firewalls, and network equipment (routers, switches, access points). - Providing support for ERP applications, including installation, upgrades, and connectivity troubleshooting. - Ensuring the smooth operation of company-wide IT systems, networks, and software tools. - Managing user accounts, access control, and security policies through Active Directory and related services. - Performing regular system backups, patch management, and data recovery testing. - Monitoring network performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing for stability and speed. - Coordinating with developers and software teams to maintain application servers and database environments (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL). - Implementing and monitoring IT security protocols, including antivirus, firewalls, and data protection policies. - Documenting infrastructure configurations, software installations, and standard operating procedures. The qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network/System Engineer. - Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux Server Administration. - Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching). - Experience in firewall management (Sophos, Fortigate, pfSense, Cisco ASA, etc.). - Good understanding of ERP system environments, including application servers, database connectivity, and client setups. - Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, ESXI), backup tools, monitoring systems, and security hardening. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
