System Administrator

As a Systems Engineer/System Administrator at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our AWS infrastructure and Linux servers to ensure optimal performance and security of our IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: - **AWS Management**: - Designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure. - Ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of AWS services. - Monitoring and optimizing AWS performance and costs. - **Linux Server Administration**: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers. - Performing regular system updates, backups, and security checks. - Troubleshooting and resolving server-related issues. - **Database Cluster Management**: - Managing and maintaining PostgreSQL clusters. - Ensuring high availability, performance, and security of database clusters. - **Certification and Compliance**: - Maintaining compliance with industry standards and best practices. - Leveraging Red Hat Certification to implement and manage robust Linux environments. - **System Monitoring and Performance Tuning**: - Monitoring system performance and ensuring optimal operation. - Performing capacity planning and performance tuning. - **Security Management**: - Implementing and managing security measures to protect systems and data. - Responding to and mitigating security incidents. - **Documentation and Reporting**: - Maintaining comprehensive system documentation. - Providing regular reports on system performance and health. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or system administration. - Strong experience with AWS services and architecture. - Proficiency in managing and maintaining Linux servers. - Experience in managing PostgreSQL clusters. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong understanding of IT security practices and principles. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
