Full Stack Java Developer

As a Full Stack Java Developer in Calicut, you will be responsible for owning backend systems for a global fleet SaaS (AVLView) that processes high-volume telemetry. You will work with a tech stack that includes Java 17, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS (ECS/RDS), Kafka/RabbitMQ, Hibernate, and PostgreSQL. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end development including requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support. - Build robust, reusable Java services and libraries while enforcing clean architecture and patterns. - Own performance by instrumenting services, analyzing bottlenecks, and improving latency and throughput. - Integrate features with cross-functional teams, ensuring quality through automated tests and CI/CD. - Mentor junior engineers, review code for reliability, security, and maintainability. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience. - 3+ years of professional Java experience with strong OOP and design patterns. - Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, and microservices in production. - Familiarity with cloud services on AWS (ECS/EC2, RDS/PostgreSQL, S3); knowledge of Kafka/RabbitMQ is a plus. - Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL fundamentals, performance tuning, and observability. - Proficiency in Git, modern workflows, clear communication, and problem-solving skills.
