System Admin - Citrix

You are a skilled System Administrator with over 6 years of experience, specializing in Citrix technologies. Your main responsibility will be to manage, support, and optimize the virtual desktop infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of Citrix environments. Your key responsibilities will include administering and maintaining Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Studio, Citrix Director, and StoreFront. You will also monitor and troubleshoot Citrix environments, perform patch management, upgrades, and regular maintenance, and collaborate with other IT teams on various dependencies such as Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and storage/networking. Additionally, you will create and manage machine catalogs and delivery groups, configure Citrix policies, profiles, and printing, troubleshoot application publishing and user session issues, maintain documentation, support disaster recovery and business continuity planning, and ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 6 years of system administration experience with a strong focus on Citrix technologies. You must possess hands-on experience with Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Studio, Director, and StoreFront, as well as proficiency in Windows Server administration. Good knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies is also required, along with experience in Citrix Profile Management and user profile troubleshooting. Familiarity with FSLogix, Citrix Cloud, and Azure-hosted Citrix environments will be a plus. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills are essential for this role.
