SW QA Engineering

As a valued member of our team at Finastra, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automation testing. Your responsibilities will include developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans. In addition, you will identify, document, and track defects and issues, working closely with development teams to resolve them. Conducting regression testing to ensure that existing functionality is not impacted by new changes will also be a key part of your role. Your input will be highly valued during code reviews, where you will provide feedback on testability and quality. It is essential to stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA and automation testing to ensure the highest standards of quality. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in automation testing, particularly with Selenium, is highly preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent communication and teamwork abilities. You should be detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Additionally, experience with other automation tools and frameworks, knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and an understanding of Agile methodologies and practices are considered advantageous.
