Surveyor (DGMS Certified – Coal Mines)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and DGMS-certified Surveyor for our coal mining operations. The candidate must hold a Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS under Coal Mines Regulations and should be proficient in operating Total Station, DGPS, and other modern survey instruments. The role involves preparing accurate mine plans, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting mine planning and production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Total Station, DGPS, and related survey equipment for surface and underground mine surveys.
• Prepare and maintain statutory mine plans and sections in compliance with DGMS and Coal Mines Regulations.
• Conduct topographical, boundary, excavation, and stock surveys as required.
• Assist in mine planning and design by providing accurate survey data.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory survey reports.
• Monitor excavation, overburden removal, and coal stock measurements with accuracy.
• Maintain updated survey records and support statutory inspections by DGMS and other authorities.
• Ensure survey work is carried out with safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Mandatory: Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency (Coal Mines) issued by DGMS.
• Diploma/Degree in Mining/Surveying or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Total Station, DGPS, AutoCAD, Surpac, or similar software.
• Strong knowledge of Coal Mines Regulations (CMR) and DGMS guidelines.
• Good communication, reporting, and analytical skills.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in mine surveying (coal mines preferred).
• Having Surveyor’s Certificate of Competence issued by DGMS for Coal Mines Regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
