Job Summary:

The Surveyor is responsible for conducting land, topographic, and structural surveys to determine precise measurements and data used for construction and infrastructure development. The role involves operating survey instruments, interpreting drawings, preparing survey reports, and ensuring accurate setting out of works on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct land and topographical surveys using total station, GPS, auto level, and other surveying instruments.
• Prepare and maintain survey data, maps, site plans, and reports.
• Set out, level, and survey construction sites according to design drawings.
• Verify design dimensions and alignments on-site and provide feedback to the engineering team.
• Monitor site levels, structures, and boundaries to ensure construction accuracy.
• Perform as-built surveys and prepare related documentation.
• Liaise with project engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment regularly.
• Record and manage survey data for future reference and audits.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards on-site.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of surveying techniques and instruments (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and site plans.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other survey-related applications.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure at project sites.

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying.
• 2–5 years of experience in surveying for construction or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with modern surveying software and tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
