Key Responsibilities

Alert Optimization & Tuning

• Assess and fine-tune existing surveillance models and alert parameters to enhance performance and accuracy.
• Conduct systematic tuning to minimize false positives and improve true event detection.
• Utilize data-driven methodologies and quantitative techniques to evaluate thresholds, logic, and data feeds.

Model Performance Analysis

• Develop metrics, dashboards, and KPIs to measure model precision, recall, and false positive ratios.
• Perform back-testing, sampling, and trend analysis to validate model effectiveness.
• Collaborate with global compliance teams to implement model enhancements and data-driven improvements.

Data Quality & Governance

• Partner with technology teams to identify and resolve data integrity issues impacting surveillance output.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of trading and communication data from source systems.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Compliance Officers and global stakeholders to define model requirements and tuning objectives.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and validation results to meet regulatory and audit standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum

  5 years of experience

  in trade surveillance, compliance analytics, or risk monitoring.
• Proven expertise with platforms such as

  Scila, Nasdaq SMARTS, or TT Score

  .
• Strong proficiency in

  SQL, Python

  , or other analytical tools for performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of

  market abuse, insider trading, and conduct risk scenarios

• Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable outcomes.

Preferred:
