Full Stack Developer - Node js + Vue js

Roles and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications tailored to the insurance domain.

• Lead frontend development using

  Vue.js

  , ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Build robust backend services and APIs using

  Node.js

  and related frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, QA, and product managers.
• Optimize application performance and ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Integrate applications with third-party insurance platforms and data services.
• Maintain code quality standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers if required.

Application Security Responsibilities

• Analyze Security Reports:

  Review and interpret findings from Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and penetration testing to identify critical vulnerabilities in codebases.

• Remediate Code Vulnerabilities:

  Implement effective fixes for security issues such as injection flaws, cross-site scripting (XSS), insecure authentication, insecure direct object references (IDOR), and other common threats uncovered by automated and manual testing.

• Document and Report Resolutions:

  Maintain thorough documentation of identified vulnerabilities, root cause analysis, and remediation steps.

• Work Independently:

  Take ownership of assigned security issues and proactively resolve them with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-sufficiency and accountability.

• Ensure Compliance:

  Follow organizational security guidelines, frameworks, and best practices to ensure secure application development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.

• Strong proficiency in

  Vue.js

  (Vuex, Vue Router, Component Design, Composition API, etc.).
• Solid experience with

  Node.js

  , Express.js, and REST API development.
• Understanding of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization in web applications.

• 3–6 years of experience in application security concepts and remediation.

• Strong understanding of application security principles and common vulnerability classes.
• Proven ability to review, interpret, and address security reports from automated tools and manual testing.
• Prior experience working on

  insurance/banking/finance applications

  is an added advantage.
