Job Description

Responsibilities

Perform complex surgical procedures related to cancer treatment, ensuring precision and adherence to the highest standards of medical care

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to devise comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs

Conduct pre-operative and post-operative consultations, providing clear communication and compassionate support to patients and their families

Stay updated on the latest advancements in surgical oncology and integrate innovative techniques into practice

Participate in hospital rounds and case conferences to discuss patient progress and strategize ongoing care

Mentor and train junior medical staff, fostering a learning environment within the surgical team

Engage in clinical research and contribute to publications aimed at advancing the field of oncology

Required Qualifications

Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of a residency in general surgery followed by a fellowship in surgical oncology

Board certification in surgical oncology or equivalent recognition in the field

Demonstrated experience in performing a range of oncological surgeries with a high degree of expertise and success

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly and compassionately

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, ensuring the highest standards of patient care

Valid medical license to practice in the respective state or willingness to obtain one
