Surface Engineer/Senior Engineer- Coimbatore

Role & responsibilities

Utilizes knowledge and skills as sound contributor. Organizes and manages multiple concurrent projects. To be able to lead and execute tasks by applying relevant industry codes, standards and/or project specific standards. Duties may also include reviewing vendor and client documents, developing project specific documentation. Develops an understating of team concepts and relations.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates command of most technical skills and principles within a specific engineering discipline as well as sound knowledge of these elements in other disciplines.
• Uses judgment based on the experience and analysis of information.
• Able to apply knowledge to address and resolve a variety of complex technical issues using proven and new approaches and techniques.
• Able to independently overcome obstacles when executing projects and resolve problems by

identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience.

Preferred candidate profile

More than 8 years of experience in oil and gas industry specifically in surface/subsea equipment design

• Should have conducted/participated in at least 1 validation testing of API 6A / 17D

• Should have sound knowledge in product design calculations and design acceptance criteria

• General knowledge of Oil and Gas production, hydrocarbon processing and oil/water separation.

• PC Skills and working knowledge of engineering software packages such as CAD packages, MathCAD.

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
