Support Engineer

About VDO.AI :Vdo.AI is becoming the dominant form of content consumption on the internet and our platform helps publishers transition to the future. Our proprietary technology platform provides the video player, video streaming, video content and video advertising in an end to end offering to some of the biggest publishers on the internet. Our aim is to integrate the best advertisers with qualified publishers, to enable a high value video advertising ecosystem to thrive. Within a short span of 2 years, we are working with over 800+ websites, streaming over 2 petabytes of video content and serving over 3 billion ads every month.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development across backend (PHP/Python/Node.js) and frontend (JS/HTML/CSS). Oversee architecture, code quality, and scalable solution design
• Integration Support: Troubleshoot and resolve Level-2 technical issues related to ad tags, SDKs, and player integrations for publishers
• Diagnose JavaScript errors, tag misfires, VAST/VPAID issues, and ad-delivery failures with quick turnaround time
• Ensure smooth integration experience, high success rates, and minimal escalations from publishers
• Meet defined SLAs for issue resolution and maintain high CSAT scores
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and AdOps teams to escalate and resolve complex problems
• Create and maintain detailed documentation on recurring issues, solutions, and best practices
• Analyze logs, player events, API calls, ad responses, and network activity to ensure optimal ad performance
  

Requirements

• 0 - 2 years of experience in JavaScript, browser debugging tools, and network analysis
• Hands-on experience with VAST/VPAID, programmatic advertising, GAM, and ad tag troubleshooting
• Solid understanding of HTML, DOM, cookies, CSP, CORS, and HTTP network calls
• Ability to break down technical issues using logs, API responses, player events, and payloads
• Prior experience supporting web, mobile web, or OTT ad tech integrations
• Ability to explain complex technical topics in a simplified and clear manner
