Job Description

As a Supply Chain Operations Specialist at Accenture, you will be responsible for managing planning, procurement, distribution, and aftermarket service supply chain operations to help clients realize significant value. In this role, you will be part of the Supply Chain Planning Team, focusing on end-to-end supply planning and execution. Your key responsibilities will include implementing systems to support demand and supply planning processes, providing planners with automated tools for data access and analysis throughout the supply chain. To excel in this position, you will need to analyze and solve moderately complex problems, potentially creating new solutions by leveraging existing methods and procedures. It is crucial to understand the strategic direction set by senior management in alignment with team goals. Your primary interaction will be with your direct supervisor, and you may manage small teams or work efforts either at a client site or within Accenture. Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts. Key Roles and Responsibilities: - Communicate effectively with customers and customer service teams. - Manage supply chain networks, inventory, and stockholding policies. - Optimize inventory service levels, safety stock, and overall inventory levels. - Validate cumulative planning lead-times and resolve supply issues. - Handle planned orders for inventory deployment and address demand exceptions. - Execute distribution orders and collaborate with planners for effective supply chain operations. - Ensure constraint availability and manage transactional/master data for smooth operations. - Analyze demand patterns and approve automation policies for efficient planning. - Achieve optimal planning for the entire horizon to meet business objectives. - Monitor and address supply exceptions promptly to ensure seamless operations. - Define and maintain non-source system resources accurately. - Share forecasts with suppliers and effectively manage supply constraints. - Create Planning BOM and new constraints as needed. - Select scenarios for resolution and approve policies for streamlined operations. To qualify for this role, you should have a background in Any Graduation along with 7 to 11 years of experience in supply chain planning.
