About The Role

Skill required: Plan - Supply and Demand Planning

Designation: Supply Chain Operations Specialist

Qualifications:Any Graduation

Years of Experience:7 to 11 years

What would you do? In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the demand forecasting and planning process, ensuring that supply and demand are aligned to meet business goals.You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain, to develop and manage demand plans that optimize inventory levels, reduce stockouts, and minimize excess inventory. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and experience with demand planning best practices.

What are we looking for? Forecast and Order

SKU-level forecasting to determine how much stock to buy (future stock plan), considering forecasted demand, sales, and stock on hand. Track short-term and long-term performance

Work with suppliers to ensure intake is planned around supplier capacity

Assist Merchandising team in implementing aspects of the category strategy to deliver KPIs including sales, profit, stock, and availability

Own and manage category/range & SKU level forecasts to ensure sales, profit availability are optimized

Understand and use relevant systems in the management of intake, availability and stock

Responsible for maintaining accurate records of commitment to providing stock intake and output forecasts

Liaise with the sourcing team and directly with brands and suppliers to ensure the optimal commitment and intake position is achieved

Work with the supply teams to ensure that stock and availability targets are met

Experience:o5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory roleoProven experience in demand forecasting, S&OP processes, and inventory management within a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Skills:

oStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insightsoExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and present data to senior leadershipoStrong attention to detail and accuracy in demand forecasting and reporting

Roles and Responsibilities:

In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems

May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures

The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals

Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor

May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture

Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments

Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside

Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture

Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
