Supply Chain & Operations Manager Remote

Role Overview:

We are looking for a strategic hands-on manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of our jewelry productsfrom sourcing raw gemstones to delivering the final piece to the customer. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate costs, and ensure secure, compliant international shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Sourcing (40%)

• Sourcing: Source high-quality raw materials (gemstones, gold, silver, packaging) from local Thai suppliers and international dealers.
• Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and credit terms with vendors to maximize margins without compromising quality.
• Inventory Control: Manage stock levels of precious metals and stones; conduct monthly audits to prevent loss or theft.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure they match agreed specifications (e.g., diamond clarity, gold purity).

2. Logistics & Import/Export (40%)

• Shipping Strategy: Manage end-to-end logistics for high-value exports (FedEx/DHL/Brinks), ensuring all shipments are fully insured.
• Customs Compliance: Handle all paperwork for Thai Customs, including BoI (Board of Investment) privileges or FTA (Free Trade Agreement) documentation to save on duties.
• Last-Mile Delivery: Coordinate secure local deliveries within Bangkok for VIP clients or retail partners.

3. Operations Management (20%)

• Production Liaison: Coordinate with the Jewelry Designer and workshops to ensure materials arrive on time for production schedules.
• Cost Analysis: regularly review supply chain costs and report to the CEO on potential savings.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5-7+ years in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Operations, specifically within the Luxury, Fashion, or Jewelry sectors.
• Language: Fluent in Thai (for local supplier negotiation) and English (for international logistics and reporting).
• Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills; familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., Cin7, TradeGecko) is a plus.
• Integrity: Clean criminal record and high ethical standards (due to handling high-value goods).
