Industry – Textile / Garments

To handle the logistics activities and negotiate with transporters for cost effective transport solutions & clearances

To control the fleet of vehicles & transporters, ensuring on time delivery/transit norms and analyzing the loss in transit & undertaking measures to control the same

To Identify operational issues, potential problems and opportunities in vehicle management

To do distribution Planning – on time deliveries to stores, continuous replenishment, consolidation, cross docking, Milky Way routing and safe deliveries

Vendor Management:

To establish long-term partnerships with local suppliers and managing day-to-day supplier performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery & quality norms

To measure vendor performance to ensure adherence to predefined specifications and supply of quality material/ execution of job works

Warehouse and Inventory Management

To setup processes for Order management, Bin management, Inventory control, Replenishment planning and Transport Management

To do demand Forecasting and Inventory Planning. Daily analysis of stock outs and DOH.

To define Buffer stock, Safety stock, inventory levels at warehouses

Commercial Operations:

To ensure New store rollout schedule is met and on-time seamless delivery of shipments
