Supply Chain Internship

As an intern at the mentioned company, your responsibilities will include the following: - Supplier Research & Coordination - Search for potential suppliers through online platforms, local markets, and directories. - Collect quotations, compare prices, and maintain an updated vendor list. - Follow up with suppliers to gather product details, necessary documents, and samples. - Data Entry & Record Maintenance - Enter purchase orders, quotations, and supplier information into Excel/ERP systems. - Maintain accurate and updated purchase records, vendor databases, and price lists. - Support in Negotiations & Documentation - Assist the Purchase Manager during supplier discussions. - Prepare draft purchase orders, agreements, and relevant supporting documents. - Verify invoices and certificates (FSSAI, APEDA, Phytosanitary) for completeness. - Market & Commodity Research - Monitor basic commodity price trends for items like rice, spices, and fruits. - Generate concise reports on availability and seasonal supply of commodities. - Back-Office & Coordination Tasks - Draft professional emails to suppliers for price requests and clarifications. - Coordinate effectively with the logistics and accounts team to ensure a smooth workflow. - Organize and maintain procurement-related paperwork efficiently.
