1. Monitor Supply chain levels across Apollos retail pharmacy network to minimize stockouts and overstocks.
2. Forecast demand based on sales trends, seasonal patterns, and new product launches unique to Apollo’s pharmacy operations.
3. Execute replenishment, inter-store transfers, and returns in line with Apollo’s SOPs and cold chain requirements.
4. Liaise with store managers, warehouse, procurement, and vendors for timely stock movement and issue resolution.
5. Conduct regular stock audits for Apollo branches, reconcile discrepancies, and support audits by regulatory authorities.
6. Maintain compliance with healthcare and NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) regulations for medicines and controlled drugs.
7. Generate reports: stock aging, dead stock, short-expiry inventory, and drive actionable insights for supply chain optimization.
8. Set and review reorder levels in Apollo’s ERP/MIS platforms, configuring alerts for high-demand or critical drugs.
9. Lead and train Apollo pharmacy staff on inventory discipline, Rx/OTC segregation, and digital stock processes.
10. Participate in implementation and testing of new inventory management systems as rolled out by Apollo HQ.
11. Initiate process improvement projects to reduce wastage, shrinkage, and improve OTIF (on-time, in-full) supply.
12. Assist area and regional management in supply chain budgeting, special events (e.g., vaccination drives), and promotional campaigns.
