Supplier Technical Engineer

As a Supplier Technical Engineer, your role will involve supporting suppliers in the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, delivery, and lead time requirements. You will need to maintain and/or govern elements of the Technical Package of the product, define the manufacturing process, and validate it through the First Article Inspection process. Collaboration with interfacing teams and suppliers to ensure technical requirements are met, including Source and Method Change and New Product Introduction, is essential. Your responsibilities will also include resolving technical problems/enquiries, identifying opportunities for new or improved manufacturing processes, sharing best practices, and supporting site quality teams in containment activities and supplier management. Key Responsibilities: - Support suppliers in developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes - Maintain Technical Package elements and ensure effective manufacturing process control - Collaborate with interfacing teams and suppliers to meet technical requirements - Resolve technical problems/enquiries related to the product - Identify opportunities for new or improved manufacturing processes - Share best practices and utilize lessons learned - Support site quality teams in containment activities and supplier management Qualifications: - B.E / M.E in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - 5-10 years of experience in Supplier quality, Supplier development, and Auditing - Understanding of Fabrication, Welding, NDT techniques, and other manufacturing processes - Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO TS 16949, ISO 3834 - Basic understanding of QHSE management system implementation and risk assessment - Familiarity with Problem-Solving Resolution tools and techniques (8D, root cause analysis) Additional Company Details: Not available in the provided job description.
