Job Description

Basic Requirements - Technical

Able to read & understand drawings, GD & T proficient.

Basic measurement skill [Usage of basic measuring equipment Vernier, Micrometer, Height gauge, Profile projector etc]. Understanding & interpretation of CMM, Roughness, Roundness & Hardness Test reports.
Commodity knowledge in either Functional parts, Casting, Forging, Stamping Processes, Machining of Cast or Forged parts, Wiring harness, Mechatronics, Rubber & Resin parts.
Good problem solving skills with thorough understanding of 8D report process,5 Why, Statistical Process Control(SPC), 7QC tools, including troubleshooting methods, risk analysis, statistics, and auditing.
Able to judge whether suitable countermeasures taken and guide suppliers for analysis & improve quality
Perform supplier quality audits as per plan and management of the supplier corrective action process.

Basic Requirements - Others

Self-driven with minimal guidance & support.
Experience in Supplier parts development (able to manage development activities with minimal guidance / support) & knowledge on Production Part Approval Process(PPAP).
Attitude with Quick and speedy action.
Automotive knowledge is preferred with Engine parts background.
Experience with MS Office applications & good communication skills.
Willing to travel 50% of time.
